These terms govern your use of PauseProof's website, course, and related materials. By using PauseProof, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. About PauseProof
PauseProof ("we", "us") provides educational digital products and resources for women navigating perimenopause. Our products are self-study courses, workbooks, and supporting materials.
Important medical disclaimer: PauseProof is educational. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for individualized care from a qualified licensed healthcare provider. Always consult a clinician about your individual health. 2. Your account and access
- You must be 18 or older to purchase or use PauseProof products.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One purchase = one user. Course access is non-transferable.
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for your personal use.
3. Purchases and pricing
- Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full card details.
- By purchasing, you authorize us to charge the full amount displayed at checkout, including any applicable taxes.
- Promotional pricing (e.g., founding-member rates) is honored at the rate displayed at purchase and is not retroactive.
4. Refund policy
PauseProof comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason within 60 days of purchase, email refunds@pauseproof.com and we will refund the full purchase amount to your original payment method. No questions asked. See the full refund policy.
5. Intellectual property
All course content — videos, PDFs, workbooks, scripts, audio, text, and design — is owned by PauseProof and protected by copyright. You may use the materials for your personal education. You may not:
- Share, distribute, post, or resell the course content.
- Use the materials commercially in any form.
- Create derivative works without written permission.
- Remove copyright notices or branding.
6. User conduct
You agree not to use PauseProof in ways that violate any applicable law, infringe on others' rights, or interfere with the service's normal operation. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, with refund per policy.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
PauseProof is provided "as is" for educational purposes. We make no warranties about specific outcomes, results, or improvements. Individual experiences with perimenopause vary widely, and what works for some women may not work for others.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to PauseProof shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Testimonials
Testimonials on our website reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that any specific user will achieve similar results. Where compensation, complimentary access, or other consideration was provided, this will be disclosed.
9. Third-party services
Our service uses third-party providers (Stripe, our course host, our email provider). We are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply when you interact with them.
